Artist story and statement:

I first discovered my passion for painting in 2006 and it has since become a constant in my life. I have explored various techniques, including sketching, watercolor, and acrylic, before finally finding my true love in oil painting. Despite its challenges, my love for painting has never faded. During my college years, I struggled to find my unique artistic voice. At first, I thought that abstract landscapes were my calling, but it wasn't until my final semester that I stumbled upon my true niche. In a serendipitous moment, I painted a cat resting on a cushion, surrounded by nothing but a light blue background, and at that moment, I knew I had found my own artistic style.

Each of my paintings reflects an innermost emotions and thoughts, conveying a mood and atmosphere with a touch of humor. I hope that my art will resonate with those who view it and evoke emotions and connections.

About Tiger

Tiger is a cat with a snub nose who looks grumpy because of his unusual appearance: white fur with a red spot and a red center-part hairstyle. Despite his looks, Tiger is actually a well-behaved and kind-hearted cat.

Tiger is quite lazy and loves to sleep. He hates being alone and often sticks close to people. He is very particular about his food, and only likes to eat cat food and maple-flavored nutritional paste.

He is often curious about his environment, but he is also very timid and doesn't like to step out of his comfort zone.

Unfortunately, because of his strange appearance and lack of cleanliness, other cats often bully Tiger. They play tricks on him and don't let him eat or rest properly. Despite being bullied, Tiger doesn't fight back and instead silently endures the mistreatment. Only when he can no longer take it does he choose to defend himself.
